It’s the Owner/Quilt Maker/Content Creator Kelly, here! I’m all about bringing you comfort, love, and joy with quilts that celebrate your style and individuality. Flowerfield Road is a small woman-owned business in Minnesota. Even though it’s solely operated by myself I tend to use a lot of “us/we/our” verbiage since I couldn’t do this without the loving support from my husband and provision from Jesus!

How it all began:

In 2023 I went on a picnic with some friends and one of my friends had brought a beautiful rag quilt for us to sit on. As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to learn how to make one! I fell in love with the process of making my small “practice quilt” so much that I ended up making a bigger one for a friend shortly after. I had her come with me to pick out all the different fabrics that she wanted and it just brought a smile on my face while making it, knowing how customized it was to her and her style. I shipped it out to her once it was completed, and with God’s perfect timing, it arrived during a difficult season of life for her. She said she wrapped herself with it immediately and felt like it was like having me give her a hug! I knew right then and there I wanted to bring that same love, comfort, and joy to others ♡
